&lt;WRAP >PLEASE NOTE If you are uploading a photo you have taken yourself.&lt;/WRAP>
&lt;WRAP >The maximum file size for images is 2Mb. This is smaller than most cameras or smartphones so you will need to reduce the size with your photo editor application (scaling to about half size in both dimensions is usually sufficient). &lt;wrap ><a href="https://www.gimp.org/" class="urlextern" title="https://www.gimp.org/" rel="ugc nofollow">GIMP</a>&lt;/wrap> is free picture editing software that runs on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux. It can be a bit daunting at first because it is so feature rich, so here is a step by step guide to scaling your images:&lt;/WRAP>

<li class="level1"> Choose menu option File|Open</li>
<li class="level1"> In the Open dialogue panel, locate the file you want to edit and click ‘Open’</li>
<li class="level1"> Choose menu option Image|Scale Image</li>
<li class="level1 node"> In the Scale dialogue panel<ul>
<li class="level3"> Set the width to about half the value shown. The height should adjust automatically</li>
<li class="level3"> Click the ‘Scale’ button</li>

&lt;WRAP >That’s it. You should now find the file is less than 2Mb and you can upload it.&lt;/WRAP>

&lt;WRAP >If you have found a file on the web (and have checked it is copyright free) just include the web address of the image in the comments section above. You DO NOT need to download and thenupload the image.&lt;/WRAP>
&lt;WRAP >To get the web address of the image,&lt;/WRAP>

<li class="level1"> Make sure you are viewing the image and not just a thumbnail</li>
<li class="level1"> Right click on the image</li>
<li class="level1"> From the pop-up menu, choose ‘Copy image location’, ‘Copy image address’ or similar (the actual words will depend on which web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge etc) you are using.</li>
<li class="level1"> Click in the comments area above</li>
<li class="level1"> Right click</li>
<li class="level1"> From the pop-up menu, choose ‘Paste’</li>
