There’s a doughnut in the baker’s window
That’s been there twenty weeks
There’s a doughnut in the baker’s window
I know because it reeks
I saw him put it there you know
With filthy dirty hands.
Now it’s crawling with the larvae
of every fly that lands.
I couldn’t use that bakers
If it was last place on earth
Or eat the doughnut in the widow
’t gave many flies their birth.
It is still there you know,
and a years has now gone by
and by the doughnut in the window
You’ll see there’s a dead fly.
